a. Phone Number & Google Sign-In (userid, mobile)

We collect your phone number and use Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In) to create your user profile. This information helps personalize your experience and enable features like feedback, SOS setup, and job alerts.

b. Location Data (GPS)

We request your location permission to:

• Show nearby hospitals, clinics, blood banks
• Provide local emergency services
• Assist in SOS alerts

Location is used in real-time only and is not stored on our servers.

c. Contact Access (SOS Contacts)

You may optionally choose contacts from your device to receive SOS alerts via SMS.
We do not upload or store your contact list. The selected contacts are stored locally on your device.

d. User Feedback & Forms

The app includes Google Forms for “Contact Us” and “Feedback & Suggestions.” Submissions are handled through Google Forms and are subject to Google’s privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate users and manage sessions
• Display relevant local services, schemes, and job listings
• Enable SOS functionality in case of emergencies

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third-party vendors.
SOS contacts are only used locally and are never transmitted externally.

The Malegaon app does not represent any government agency. It provides general, publicly available information about government and private schemes for convenience. Sources include:

5. Data Security

User data is secured via Firebase Authentication and Google Cloud infrastructure.
Sensitive operations such as SOS messages and contact access are handled with explicit user permission and stored only on the user's device.

• You can revoke location and contact permissions at any time via your phone settings.
• You may uninstall the app to delete all locally stored data.
• You can opt out of SOS functionality entirely if you prefer not to share contact access.
